Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the MeowNow mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

MeowNow is a cat image sharing application that allows users to:

• View cat photos and GIFs uploaded by other users
• Upload their own cat images to share with the community
• Vote (like/dislike) on images
• View leaderboards showing popular content
• Optionally use AI-powered breed detection for entertainment

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MeowNow. Users under 13 require parental consent. Users between 13-16 in the EU/UK may require parental consent under local laws.

User Accounts and Content

Content Upload

• Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all images you upload
• Ownership: You must own or have rights to any images you upload
• Cat Images Only: The App is intended for cat-related images only
• Content Standards: Images must comply with our content policies (see Prohibited Conduct below)

License Grant

By uploading an image to MeowNow, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display, store, and distribute your image within the App
• Create thumbnails and optimize images for performance
• Show your image to other users as part of the App's functionality

You retain all ownership rights to your content. You can delete your images at any time through the App.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to upload, post, or transmit any content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Contains nudity, violence, or other offensive material
• Infringes on intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Is spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• Depicts animal abuse or cruelty
• Is not related to cats (this is a cat app!)

Additionally, you agree NOT to:

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the App's operation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Manipulate voting systems or artificially inflate popularity
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Collect or harvest user data

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove Content: Delete any image that violates these Terms without notice
• Suspend Access: Temporarily or permanently restrict your access to the App
• Report Violations: Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
• No Obligation: We are not obligated to monitor all content but reserve the right to do so

AI Breed Detection Disclaimer

Entertainment Only: The AI-powered cat breed detection feature is provided for entertainment purposes only and may not be accurate. We make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, or correctness of breed identifications. Do not rely on this feature for any purpose requiring accurate breed identification.

Intellectual Property

• App Ownership: MeowNow and all associated trademarks, logos, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by [Your Legal Name/Company]
• Your Content: You retain ownership of images you upload
• Copyright Infringement: We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your work has been infringed, contact us using the information in the Contact section

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or downtime
• User-generated content or third-party actions
• Any damages exceeding $100 USD or the amount you paid to use the App (which is $0 for a free app)

Indemnification
